Intention Bracelets
Intention Bracelets
Make your own intention bracelet!
- Incredibly impactful as a virtual program, Drop Ship, or live event!
- Each person creates their own bracelet with a meaningful word they choose that connects to their "why"
- Great opportunity for students to connect and hear each other's stories and experiences
Intention Bracelets is a true "meaning making activity" for any group! There are really 4 great parts to this activity. Part 1. Questions prompt each person to choose a word or phrase that expresses the intention they want to manifest in their lives or community. There are no right or wrong answers. If the word feels activated and truthful, it is the right word! Part 2. Each participant hammers their intention onto a token on a bracelet. Participants are encouraged to solidify their intent with each stamp of a letter. Part 3. As the bracelets are finished, each person shares the "why" behind their token while their neighbor helps them tie the bracelet onto their wrist, bringing conversation and connection to the experience. Part 4. By wearing the bracelets, the participants are constantly reminded of their intention and they get the opportunity to share what they feel and made with someone new!

What our clients have to say...
Thanks so much for your email, Shawna...Goodness, what an event this was! We had it going on simultaneously with a blood drive, hoping the two might support one another. I was surprised at a couple of things...
The directions were INCREDIBLY clear to follow. All the instructions for students were just as the actions described in both images as well as text. Again, there was just no second guessing - what was presented in your operational materials was how it unfolded for each and every student. The students really spent some time on the word or phrase that captured where they are in life at present. A few really had to sit and just read over the cards for a while. For some individuals, you could really feel the level of tension being experienced with the hammering. And in the aftermath, you could visibly see the release of emotions. Some people have placed the bracelets on others; others have tied them on their backpacks...The creativity of how they use the chosen word/phrase has been wide.
I truly cannot thank you enough...It was meaningful, fun, and students were clearly expressing themselves in the color of the thread, the hammering, the word/phrase chosen, and how they will use/display the bracelet. It was amazing!

On behalf of the Associated Students of Whatcom Community College and Bellingham Public Schools, we would like to express our deepest gratitude for facilitating your activity during the 7th Annual Students Leading Change Conference. It is important that people have goals to strive towards and you were able to bring that out and make something to not only hold us accountable of those goals, but to give us something physical to remember what we are working towards. The students and staff who attended the conference walked away with so much joy, calmness, and a deeper understanding of intentionality because of your contribution. Not only was your activity grounding, but it also gave us little moments of calmness to be able to regroup and it gave us time to think about our intention in our current life which is so often overlooked. The time and commitment that you put into the conference is invaluable, thank you so much. We truly enjoyed having you at the conference and we hope to see you again on the road to bettering oneself day by day.
